The rule
Found from the chart’s own swings since the base high of the last six months: 2 to 5 pullbacks that mostly get shallower (the first at least 8% and at least 1.5 times the last, the last 12% or less), price between 10% below and 6% above the pivot (the latest swing high), above the 200-day average and near or above the 50-day, and a VCP score of at least 65 out of 100 for how clean the pattern is. RS rating 50 or higher.
Universe: every NSE stock in the scanner’s data that trades at least ₹10 crore a day on average (872 stocks today), the same list the scanner’s screens start from. Prices are end-of-day; the list is rebuilt after each trading day’s close.

The Nifty 500 is below both its 50 and 200-day averages, +3.0% over one month and -5.4% over three. 25% of stocks are above their 50-day average and 40% above their 200-day. Among liquid stocks on the day, 408 rose and 263 fell; 14 made a new 52-week high and 8 a new 52-week low.
